The U.S. Constitution is especially important in 2026 because it continues to serve as the foundation of American democracy, guiding governance, protecting rights, and ensuring stability in a rapidly changing world. Constitution Day marks the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution by 39 delegates at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787. Observing Constitution Day allows all of us to reflect on our obligations as citizens and the importance of participating in the democratic process. Join our esteemed panelists as their reflect on why the Constitution is personally meaningful to them and how the Constitution guides our lives every day.
