About the event

The Ballots & Bots: Defending Democracy, Elections, and Public Trust in the Age of AI brings together election officials, civic leaders, journalists, technology experts, policymakers, and researchers to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping elections and democratic discourse.


The conference will be in two parts: the afternoon sessions (12-4 PM) at the Rowan County Events Center, with an evening event at Keppel Auditorium on the Catawba College campus. Both events will also be live-streamed via Zoom webinar.
