William Kristol

Bill Kristol is a founding director of Defending Democracy Together, an educational and advocacy organization dedicated to defending America’s democratic norms, principles, and institutions, and serves as editor at large of The Bulwark. He was a founder of the Weekly Standard magazine in 1995 and its editor for over two decades. Before that, Mr. Kristol taught politics at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University, and then served as chief of staff to U.S. Secretary of Education William Bennett in the Reagan Administration and as chief of staff to Vice President Dan Quayle in the George H. W. Bush Administration.
